With the fire test, our KOPI pipe clamps now offer even greater reliability and safety in fastening solutions that are exposed to fire risks. This achievement is a testament to our commitment to product safety and meeting the needs of our customers.
KOPI pipe clamps, made of electrogalvanized steel, are specially designed for pipe fastening. We offer these clamps in 10 different sizes, tailored to the fastening of pipes of different sizes. Fastening is done, for example, with S-CSA concrete screws, which are installed directly into the elongated hole of the pipe clamp.
The behavior of sustained loads in a fire situation is investigated by fire tests. The evaluation of the performance of KOPI PK pipe clamps during a fire is based on experimental results, which are specified in accordance with the standard EAD 280016-00-0602. It is important to note that the performance parameters only describe the pipe fasteners themselves, including the withdrawal of the screw head from the pipe fastener. Failure of the fastener used with the pipe fastener, such as steel failure or separation from the substrate, is not within the scope of this evaluation.
