New S-CSA+ Heavy duty Concrete screws for high loads
Sormat concrete screws in general
ETA-approved S-CSA and S-CSA+ concrete screws are manufactured in Finland. They are easy and quick to install and do not require special tools or work methods. Concrete screws can withstand high loads even at relatively small spacings and edge distances. Concrete screws are removable and reusable and there for well suited for temporary fixings such as the installation of element and formwork supports.
The selection is renewed
The Sormat concrete screw product family grows with more robust and high-performance S-CSA+ concrete screws. The smaller S-CSA 6 range is extended with additional lengths as well as more fixture thicknesses . Hereinafter, sizes 8, 10 and 14 of concrete screws are known as S-CSA+ and sizes 5 and 6 are known as S-CSA.
The S-CSA+ is designed for very heavy loads and the performance is on a top level. The size 14 SW24 is especially designed for attaching formwork supports. Size 6 High-performance S-CSA screws are available in a variety of drives and are also ETA-approved for hollow core slabs.
Sormat concrete screw features
- Self tapping screw anchors for through installations.
- No expansion forces, so relatively small edge and mutual distances are possible.
- The concrete screw can be loaded immediately.
- It can be said that a concrete screw combines the benefits of undercut anchors and chemical anchors, but no special tools or curing time are required.
- ZP (electro zinc plated) is suitable for dry interiors.
- ML (Multi Layer) is a corrosion-resistant coating with properties similar to hot-dip galvanizing.
Tested in salt spray test: according to DIN EN ISO 9227 (more than 1000h without the appearance of red rust) - S-CSA+ HEX: hex drive with combined washer
- S-CSA 6 HEX: hex drive with combined washer + torx
- S-CSA I: internal thread M8 / M10
- S-CSA CS: countersunk
- S-CSA P: pan head
- S-CSA P (L): low pan head
The S-CSA+ range covers the larger sizes (8, 10 and 14)
- S-CSA+ 8 and 10 replace the old S-CSA 8 and 10.
- Brand new size S-CSA+ 14.
- The S-CSA+ has been completely redesigned for even better performance.
- The S-CSA+ 8 is so powerful that it can even replace the size 10 in some cases
- A more advanced thread is more shear and more durable.
- The larger diameter of the thread allows for a tighter grip.
- The redesigned tip simplifies and speeds up installation.
- 2 installation depths for diverse applications.
- The saw blade at the beginning of the thread cuts more efficiently and forms a firmer thread.
- The S-CSA+ is removable and reusable.
- The S-CSA+ 14 SW24 has been specially developed for attaching mold and element supports.
- The SW24 drive is the same one that is also used to tighten the support beams, so it speeds up work when there is no need to change the tool.
- A 14 mm screw is also available with a test gauge to test the reusability of the screw
New lengths and alternative setting depths in the S-CSA 6 range.
- Better load capacities
- More material thicknesses to attach
- Two installation depths / size
- S-CSA P (L) is a new version with lower head
- S-CSA I is completely redesigned
Completely new size S-CSA+ 14
- Higher load capacities
- Two drive sizes SW 21 and SW 24
- Checking gauge for reuse
