S-CSA with Multi Layer coating
Sormat S-CSA Hex and CS are now also available with high corrosion-resistant Multi Layer Coating (ML).
When selecting mechanical fasteners, it is essential to consider how much they are exposed to corrosion when installed. Harmful effects include, for example, humidity, air pollution such as sulfur dioxide and coastal sea salt air. Corrosion occurs if the material or coating is insufficient for the conditions. Thanks to the Sormat Multi Layer coating, the product has excellent corrosion resistance. The coating has at least one thousand hours of salt spray resistance, and it allows the S-CSA ML screws to be much more widely used than ordinary galvanizing.
Features of ML coating:
- Very good corrosion resistance with thin surface thickness (> 1000 hours in salt spray test)
- Durable
- Good temperature resistance
- Smaller galvanic corrosion
